The igniton tumbler has failed. They have many problems with tehm. You can try to tap the key with a hammer to turn and getthe tumbler to turn so you can remove the tumbler. If you can get the tumbler to turn to the on position, remove the steering column cover, there is a small dimple in the underside of the housing you depress to remove the tumbler and have it replaced. Worse case scenario is you will have to replace the whole steering column and igniton tumbler. Be careful tapping the key,it is a secuirty(PATS) key. If you break it,you will have to reprogram a new one,and for this you need to have 2 keys, they are not cheap.

If I can helpmore just ask.
