I not sure that you can help, but here goes--I have a 1964 Chevy Impala that needs mechanical work such as a tune up, new starter, power steering control valve and so on.
I live in Chattanooga, TN. The question is can you recommend some place that can do that work in Chattanooga. Do Chevy Dealer Service centers do work on old Chevys?

I can't give a specific place to take it in your area but I'm sure any dealer would do it for you.It would be the easiest thing they did this year probably.Older cars are easier to work on just make sure they have an older tech on board that knows how to set points.You might want to check into some local independent garages as well because the prices may vary greatly.It may be worth it at this time to convert it to HEI ignition unless you plan on it be a show or collector car.HEI is much more reliable that points and condensor and requires less up keep.
