Tear the trans down and inspect the rear area of the trans case. The output shaft has 3 hard seal rings that can wear grooves in the case. Some rebuilt units have sleeves installed in the rear case bore and the sleeve blows out and causes a loss of pressure. Either that or the seal rings on the back of the pump have worn into the forward clutch drum. Need to examine and air check all clutch packs. These transmissions are fairly simple to identify faults with. If you need some more information just let me know.

Well it helps with all the information that is for sure. What originally failed in the trans and is it the same concern or are you having a different trans concern since the rebuild?

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Weird to see the reverse band burnt up. Sounds like you are having a valve body problem. Either one of the pressure control valves is hanging up or a bore is damaged, I would take a real good look at the main control. As long as everything air checks ok,only other thing to check is the od servo bore bleed hole, make sure it is clean, it is a very miniscule hole in the servo piston bore that becomes clogged. and may be causing the band to stay applied. Only other thing I can think of without looking it over is if the trans endplay is too tight/intermediate clutch pack being too tight.
