hi again Dave just one more question on this problem do you have to take the transmission out or just where is this located as have a person that works on trans, but never a Daewoo. Please advise

Well you didn't accept my answer at $5 so I will not waste my time witha $1 answer since I only get 50%.Not worth my time I could collect pop bottles and make more money.

No the transmission shouldn't need to be removed.The side cover or the pan will need removed to access the solenoid.Tell the person doing the repair to look where the wires enter the transmission.The solenoid will be located under the cover right there.I'm making this a for free answer because it is a follow up to your last question so you don't need to spend another dollar to see it.Thank you for the accept.
