how to remove rear disc brake rotor on a 2000 f150 4x4

I HAVE A METAL TO METAL RUBBING SOUND BEHIND THE ROTOR THE DUST PLATE IS IN THE WAY I CANNOT SEE. HOW DO I PULL THE ROTOR TO SEE WHAT IS RUBBING? THE BOOK I HAVE SHOWED T HE VEHICLE HAVING DRUM BRAKES ON THE REAR. I HAVE DISK BRAKES. ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. THIS IS MY FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH REAR DISC BRAKES. ALL MY OTHER VEHICLES ARE IN THE LATE 60'S AND EARLY 70'S.
