Corolla
Sent to Car Experts August 30 02:02 AM

I am working on a Toyota Corolla 1992. The battary and the brake lights are on, on the dash board. I checked the fuses in the engine compartment, the driver and the passanger kick side panels none is bad. I also checked the 2 circuit breakers on both kick side panels they did not need to be poped. I notice there are several relays but I have no way of checking them out. Also the break's tail light does not work even that the bulbs are fine. Please advice me of what should I check or replace and the exact location of any item/part you recomend replacing in the car.
Thank you for your help.
Sincerely John.

The battery light is on. Check your charging system. you may have more than one problem, but tackle them one at a time.

Reply to Hammer Time's Post: I mentioned that both battery and break lights are on. It appear that these light came on after I wash the engine with engine degreaser and rinse it with water as recomended. I also asked you to locate the part(s) needed to be replaced or checked. According to your answer what should I check? The alterator? The battery? The recharging relay????? And when it comes to the break lights what should I check? You have not mentioned anything regarding that. Please be more specific and detailed in your answer.

Thank you
