Rear Brake Rotars for 1998 Chevy

How do I get the rear rotars off my 1998 chevy blazer? Do I need to release the emergency brake cable to get the rotar off. Calibers came off fine but, having difficulty removing brake rotar. Suspect emergency brake band is holding up the rotar. How do I release the brake band?
