1992 chevy silverado 4.3 v6-My first problem is the drivers side rear turn signal socket plate quit working or shorted out. inside of socket looked a little crispy. I replaced it with one from a salvage yard that after inspection appeared to be in good shape. It worked fine for about a week then developed the same problem again. I examined the socket and it appeared slightly burnt to one side again. So I replaced it again. No problems yet with that again but now the odometer has quit working. I replaced the speed sensor and that didn't fix the problem. Then the next day the tachometer started bouncing all over the dial. Then the next day the engine started running rough at start-up until it warmed up and I could hear a clicking or bussing sound coming from the TBI area under the air breather. once it warms up it seems to run as it always did. Not real smooth but I need some TBI adjustments. What could be going on hear. Some people told me I could have a short in the instrument cluster that is causing all of the problems. And that it could cause the computor to give false readings and the TBI sensors to work improperly as well as the tach, odometer, etc. Help please before I go broke trying to get it fixed at the dealer. Thanks so much! Jon Armour
