I am assuming that you are describing an intermittent stall when teh engine is warm, and that the amp and oil pressure gauges begin to drop at the point when the engine shuts off and not before. (it is normal for these 2 gauges to drop once the engine is not running).
On Jeeps, the two most common components causing thermal failures are the crankshaft position sensor, located in the bell housing just behind the engine on the driver's side, and the cam position sensor, located inside the distributor housing. I do not have a manual at hand to be sure that your particular year has both of these sensors, but I believe it does.
If both of these components are OK, the next thing I would look at would be the fuel pump; an in-tank electric fuel pump which is starting to fail can act up intermittently at first.
Hope this is helpful; if so, clicking my accept button would be most appreciated! thanks!
