very fast idle at start

My 91 dodge dynasty 3.3L races at start for about 15 seconds. can you help

like how high is the RPM, Some of them are design to do that because first they are gasping for oil, so giving a quick rev helps the pump, and second the cholke is holding up RPM so the engine warm up a little bit quicker.

While i was waiting for a reply i did a little
more investigating and found that i had a bad
coolant sensor wire plug. I replaced it and the problem was solved. This sensor works with the
on board computer and ajusts idol speed at engine
start up. though you did have some good tips.
it really wasn't what i hoped for. thank you
for your help anyways.
