Very likely a body control module failure.   This is something you cannot easily diagnose or replace yourself; when installing a preplacemetn BCM you need a GM Tech-2 scan tool (possibly a Tech-1 on this model year) to program teh BCM to the vehicle.    This one is a job for your local GM dealer or independent shop if they happen to have the factory scan equipment.

this was not a body control module failure it was a door switch failure which we found befor we read your response. thank you for your time as you can see we have solved the problem
