Unless you want to remove the entire gear cluster and drive it out from the other side, your going to have to use a slide hammer. They make an attachment with a hinged flap on the end that opens behind the bearing to get a good grip.

I am using a slide hammer - and it won't budge!! I've cracked the race on the outside and all of the roller bearings have came out. I soaked it with liquid wrench...but still no joy.

I know it's tight but you really don't have any other options. That's why they make the special tool, so it grabs the outer race, beyond the rollers and has a bigger contact area and a more solid impact. They also make heavier slide hammers. Maybe you can rent one somewhere. With the wrong tools, you can fight with them forever.

Now your cooking with gas. How about the flap adapter for grabbing the bearing?

No flap adapter...just another 3 jaw puller...

Your going to have to get those jaws real tight to get a good enough grip on that race. Make sure you hold the hammer real straight so all 3 jaws grab equally.
