spark plug broke off in engine
Sent to Car Experts May 04 11:20 PM

I have a 99 Grand Am GT that has a spark plug broken off into the engine. The only thing in the engine is the threads all the rest came out. It is on the backside on the far left. In and out tool not working - what is my next move? Was told I would have to have head pulled. Is there any other avenue for extraction that I could try before giving it over to a mechanic to overcharge me to pull head and fix???

WHAT A SCAM!!! I THOUGHT THIS WAS A WEBSITE RUN BY PEOPLE WHO WERE OFFERING THEIR KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE WITH CARS TO HELP OTHERS--IF YOU WANT TO BE PAID YOU SHOULD BE DOING THE WORK AS WELL.

Reply to Tech501's Post: I apologize if I offended you. Had I been given the terms of the site up front it probably would not have hit me wrong. I work on a pay as I go system (no credit cards no checking account). Therefore I am unable to use this website as it does require a payment to be posted and I dont think scanning my cash will be suffice. Again I do apologize if I came across harshly.

Sincerely,
Shelly
