No Start 1995 Ford LX

Sent to Car Experts November 07 02:46 PM

No Start on a 1995 ford escort LX. Replaced - EECIV Computor, fuel filter, coil pack, crankshaft position sensor, fuel pump has pressure to spec’s, compression OK. On trying to start it fires 1 or 2 cyl. and then nothing. What could the problem be ? I have also replaced spark plugs and ignition module.

ACCEPTEDCheck Mark
You have to check for injector pulse Fords are known for bad conections in there wiring harness make sure the firing order is corect and you have continuos hot spark while cranking check the fuel pressure while cranking  Check the timing belt make sure it's not starting to shread and jumped and tooth or two.Line up the marks to be sure. You might still have some compresion and be out of time.
