1990 cutlas calais (2.5 tech 4) back firing when driving at speeds of 55mph. and sometimes under a load when in drive(foot on brake and accelerating rpm) it still back fires through the throttle body. we replaced the sparkplugs and it seemed to smooth out the idle, but still back fires when under drive load.
