head gasket needs to be replaced. i've been driving 1988 lebaron moderately. i've experienced minimal effects such as overheating. i change the oil often to prevent engine damage. i used 40 weight last oil change and not sure why it had consistency similar to bar and chain oil. very thick. soon after oil change motor lost compression, oil pressure light came on and amazed i didnt throw a rod. i assume its probably due to oil so thick, water draining in to the oil thus into the pan was probably displaced before oil was picked up by the pump since it was so thick.since then changed oil using synthetic but found out thats not good because so slippery, it may slip past engine parts without lubricating. the engine now knocks and at idle oil gauge light is on and engine runs very rough. when i accelerate oil light goes off and idle smooths out upon acceleration, though it doesnt overheat, oil gets hot & is losing alot. cant visually see leak but is leaking maybe from oil lines 2turbo

Optional Information:
1988 Chrysler lebaron 2.2 turbo

Already Tried:
