please help me with my 77 280z

i have a 1977 datsun 280z, and i cant seem to get it running. i mean it starts but when i start it is turns over and back fires then it shuts off, i have tried changeing the coil and i have also tried the fuel filter when i changed the filter i got it to run longer but it wont stay running.
