I just purchased a 1999 Daewoo Lanos 1.6 (88000 miles) ...

I just purchased a 1999 Daewoo Lanos 1.6 (88000 miles) after an oil change the oil light comes on when the engine reaches operating temp can I install a manual gauge to test pressure and where is the oil sending unit also how do you check the auto transmission fluid

Already Tried:
oil/filter chg 10w40 reset computer by removing battery no light until temp 1/2 up gauge oil light is on 2 can view fluid in transmission when running not when off but no dip stick to measure

ENGINE OIL PRESSURE


Inspection Procedure

1.Remove front, right-hand wheel well splash shield. Disconnect
oil pressure switch connector. Install adapter in place of oil
pressure switch. See Fig. 23 . Connect pressure gauge to
adapter.

2.Start engine and check oil pressure at idle speed and engine
temperature of 80°C (176°F). The minimum oil pressure should be
30 kPa (8.88 psi). Turn engine OFF and remove oil pressure gauge
and adapter. Install oil pressure switch.
3.Tighten oil pressure switch to 40 N.m (30 ft. lbs.). Connect oil
pressure switch connector. See Fig. 23 . Install lower front,
right-hand wheel well splash shield. Check oil level and fill to
full mark.

1.Fluid level must be checked with transaxle temperature of at
least 104°F (40°C). To obtain proper temperature, run engine at
idle for 3-5 minutes. Shift through each gear range, holding in
each range for 3 seconds.
2.Place gear selector in "P" position. Leave engine running. Raise
and support vehicle. Place oil drain pan below oil check plug.
Oil check plug is located in center of transaxle above pan rail,
on torque converter side. See Fig. 2 . Remove oil check plug.
3.Oil level should be even with bottom of oil check plug hole. If
fluid does not drain from hole, add fluid until fluid starts to
pour from hole. Tighten oil check plug to 106 INCH lbs. (12
N.m).
