Did you bench bleed the master cylinder before installation? Sometimes they trap air and don't allow the pedal to pump up with pressure. Also, try taking cap off master cylinder, open all bleeder screws at the wheels and gravity bleed the system until no air coming out (steady little streams). Close the bleeders and top off fluid. Retest and let me know what you come up with ok.

No special procedure. Just make sure the car is level so the gravity bleeding doesn't have to fight gravity. It should get out any air in the system one bubble at a time. May take a little while but I have found very effecttive. Also make sure the master cylinder stays full of fluid when bleeding ok.

Ok, then check the vacum booster check valve and the booster itself. Can you hear a swooshing noise when the car is started and the brakes are applied? If so then the booster may be faulty. Try disconnecting the big vacum line to the booster and plug it off. Try using the brakes and you should have manual brakes (in theory) like older vehicles used to have.
