I just bought a T-bucket with a 1967 327 with a Weiand high intake with two Holly 500cfm carbs on top .....my question is...(1) I have what looks like a vaccuum intake right next to the distributor on the block itself....is this connected to the PCV valve on the valve cover or what should it be connected to?? (2) It didn't have a pcv valve on it just a hole....what would this be connect to when I put a PCV valve on it?

That is a crank vent hole, it probably had a down draft tube running down to the bottom of the engine. These were used in earlier engines as a means to vent the crank case fumes out. That system was replaced with the PCV valve system. You will need to hook the PCV valve into the valve cover, and the other end to a vacuum port on the intake mainfold, there's usually a spot towards the rear of the intake. You can then either block off the hole in the back or even use it as a breather vent.

I thought that it probably was the crank vent, but wasn't positive....now the pcv valve ..I dont see anything on this high intake except a hole that has a treaded plug in it on the right side right of the mounting plate (housing) between the carbs....would thisd be it?....other than that there isnt anything else that would be considered a vacuum outlet....are you familiar with this high rise intake??

Very famillar with that intake,,,yes that is a plug that can be removed and the PCV attached there with an adapter. Also alot of times we use that port for the power brake booster as well.
