I have a 1959 T-bird. The brake lights are not working.

I have a 1959 T-bird. The brake lights are not working. Have replaced bulbs and stop light switch. Still not working am stumped and manual gives no help. What am I missing?

Hello there,

The rear brake lights are routed through the turn signal switch, so the signals dont cancel out when the brakes are applied. It will have to be removed and either repaired or replaced. I replaced a bunch of those back in the day!
