I have a 1997 Chrysler Sebring Conv. with a AM/FM radio with CD/Cassette player. Ther volume control now works only occasionally. Most times it just spins and spins but the volume doesn''t change. Any ideas?

That is a real common problem with those radios. Unfortunately nothing short of sending the radio for repair or replacing it is a sure fix. Most radio repair places have a fixed fee to repair them which is close to the cost of a new aftermarket radio. Alot of customers just go to Best Buy or a stereo shop and have a nice radio installed, it usually comes up cheaper. Another option is a junkyard radio, but you never know how long they will last.
