I have a 1993 chrysler Town & country ..3.3 liter Engine.......That will not start. there is no spark at the spark plugs. The Transmission, had to be changed with a used Trans. the car started and drove fine for about a week after the trans. was changed. Then while driveing it just cut off completly. I have changed the cam and crank position sensors,, replace the Electronic control unit with a known good one . Still no spark, the van will not start. Is there a sensor on the trans. that is tied into the ingition that will cause this condition. .. I   am having the same problem with a 2000 Dodge Durango after the trans was changed. Does chrysler products have sensor or some kind of security device that will cause the vehicle to not start.

REPLIED Check Mark

Hello fastruner54,

From what you've described and what you've done, it sounds like that when the transmission was installed they pinched a wire between the engine and bellhousing. I would start by having the shop that installed the transmission to check for that. If you have any follow-up questions fell free to contact me. Goog luck.
