I have a chrysler concorde LXI 3.2 engine . it started to stall ,and the rpm were going up and down if it stop with out stalling , rmp was going from 5 to about 12 and up and down. As I am driving the car when I put the brake on the car the car stalls and stops dead, I start it up and then If I put my foot on the brake to stop it the idle goes up and down may be you can help.the car has only 58,250 miles on it , no problems at all until this problem Thanks Angelo

Reply to stin1974's Post: Hi, no lights at all, no check engine light no, thats what making me nuts, I was trying to find some thing that works with braking and the idle to see if it was connected,something with a pc chip ,the car as it runs longer stalls more when the brake is put on. the car ran great for 10,000 miles before this problem Thanks Angelo

Ok, I had the identical problem with a dodge avenger. Even though you dont have a light on, I would take the vehicle to advanced auto and have them scan it. I believe you have a faulty EGR valve. I had the same problem, scanned it and there was an EGR code. I replaced the valve and it was perfect. Like I said though have advanced scan it first, I would not want you to just buy the egr and replace it and that not be it. They will scan your vehicle for free at advanced.

Reply to stin1974's Post: Hi stin1974, I tried the scan and it did not come up with anything , but an EGR valve , I will have a new one put in. I need to do something , I brough the car to Chrysler and they can't find anything . I will let you know Thanks Angelo
