1989 Chrysler Labaron had a service done on tranny and it will not downshift to passing speed. What could be the problem? Mechanic says it's the motor, but it had no problem until the tranny was serviced.

Already Tried:
Fixed rear main seal, put on new distributor cap and rotor.
