hi, i have a 95 chrysler cirrus lx V6 auto, and i have tranny fluid leaking from the differential plate, i talked to a owner of a transmission shop about how i would go about repairing the leaking plate. he said just get some black gasket sealer and put it directly on the differential not the plate and let it set up before i put the plate back on then tighten it down to specs. well i put the gasket sealer on let it sit for about 30 mins before i put the plate back on, then i waited for about 3 hours before i put fluid in the car. after all that it still leaks. o yeah i pounded the pan flat before i put it back on. i was just wondering if there is some trick to working on chryslers or if there is a gasket out there i can buy that i can use instead of gasket sealer?
