Greetings!
If everything in the vehicle is dead (no lights, no warning chime, no headlights, etc...) then the problem is in the battery or battery cable area; this is the only place where the power feeds to all vehicle systems come together.
If you investigate, you will likely find that there is a corroded or loose connection at the vehicle battery clamps and/ or at the other end of one of the battery cables. The vehicle is at the age where a replacement battery is likely needed, but if it were only the battery then the vehicle should start or at least some electrical accessories should come on when attempting to start it with jumper cables (assuming the calbles are in good condition and connected correctly).
If your car still has the original battery, I would suggest installing a new one to start with, as it is long past it's normal life expectancy. Carefully check the clamps and cable ends for any signs of corrosion when installing the new battery, and repair or replace as required. I am confident this will correct the problem you are experiencing in starting the car.
I hope this is helpful; if so, an accept would be most appreciated! thanks!
