i have a 1993 chrysler lebaron v6 3.3 and alot of smoke is coming out of my car muffler, i took it to a mechanic and they told me that oil is leaking and im gonna have to put new heads in the engine and its gonna cost me 500.00 dollars, but he didint get into specifics on what the problem is, please explain what this means?

If he is replacing the heads, he could only mean the the valve guides are worn. That price is awful cheap. He may be putting used heads on there. The most common way to repair that is to send your heads to the maching shop and let them rebuild them.

ok so then that means is it burning oil or is it leaking oil and what would that have to do with white smoke coming out of the muffler?
