Sent to Car Experts December 29, 2005 7:59 p.m.

INSTALLED A USED ENGINE 3.5 LITER, CHRYSLER CONCORDE 1994, ENGINE IS RUNNING RICH, ONLY AFTER REACHING OPERATING TEMPERATURE, ENGINE IS NOT SETTING ANY CODES,AND ACTS LIKE NO POWER. YOU CAN UNPLUG BOTH PRE CATALITIC CONVERTORS O2 SENSORS AND SEEMS TO RUN BETTER IN MOVEMENT BUT THEN STALLS AT IDLE. PLEASE ADVISE ON THIS. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE ALAN KANE

this was a used engine from salvage yard.complete engine.including wireing harness i did not install a new belt.i am also a master gm teck and this chrysler has bet me down.it runs perfect when engine is cold.could a egr cause this or a o-2 sensor????? or could the ecm not match this engine.the sensor in the center of the upper platum.i think this is the air intake sensor.if you run around 65 mph it starts to lose power if you mash on it at 65 it stall's and thin jumps into passing gear and clears up after blowing black smoke from exahust.it wont maintain a steady speed it acts like the engine is loading up with fuel.and after a 10 mile drive the cats are over heated. due to execessive fuel in the exahust system.can you advise on what test i need to run on this engine????? i have a otc scanner a snapon mt2500 scanner and a snapon vantage 2400 please advise me on this thank you in advance allan kane. c/o complete auto connection.
