(Not a Car Question?)

i have a chrysler sebring and the quotcheck engine quot

Sent to Car Experts December 22 01:07 PM

I have a 1996 Chrysler Sebring and the "Check Engine" code came on and I had a local establishment check the code and it was PO1025, something about the Coolant Sensor. Any ideas what that means. I called my local automotive guy and he couldn't tell me anything until he did a full diagnostic test to a tune of $75. Could you give me a better answer to this code and what it means...

If you haven't checked. Check your coolant level in the radiator and resevior. You made need to add coolant and/or bleed the system. If this doesn't help then check the harness for the coolant temperature sensor. It may just have a bad connection. Clear the code and see if it comes back on after you try adding to/bleeding the system.
