Reply to carguy1's Post: yes, now the other thing was that this morning, after running just fine all weekend, it would not start at all just sputtered and spat. That is something it has never done

OK.Here are some suggestions.Usually when you can start it but it won't accelerate it is in failsafe mode. Most common thing that puts it into failsafe are the throttle and the mass air flow sensor.I can't remeber if the 03 has a throttle cable or if it is drive by wire(electronic throttle body)You can tell by weather there is a wire going to the throttle or a actual cable.Either way,you are going to need to get the codes out of the ecm.I suspect the mass air flow because we see the most problems with them. You can try disconnecting the battery for a half hour or so,this may reset the fuel trim and allow the truck to run, otherwise I suspect you will need a trip to the dealer so they can hook it to the consult II nissan scan tool to monitor the systems.Hope this helps! Thanks

Thank you so much for your time. I really appreciate it. I will have my husband look into it and then probably set up a time for us to take it to the dealer.
