2000 Toyo Camry EGR Valve Replace

Hello, The check engine light on my Toyo Camry 2000 is on. THe mechanic has indicated that the EGR valve, Modulator, Vacuum Switch and Gasket need to be replaced. Is it possible to replace them by a layman? If yes what all tools do I need and is there a manual I can use to do the repairs. PLEASE advice.
