1988 chev 454 fuel injected. Dies when you put it in gear. has had tbi rebuilt and i.a.c. replaced along with the t.p.s. any ideals????Optional Information: 1988 Chevrolet 3500 454 Already Tried: replaced t.p.s.and idel air control. rebuilt tbi.

Probably not engine related. Sounds like the torque converter lockup solenoid is shot.

YOUR ANSWER WAS WRONG TOOK TO TRANS SHOP THEY SAID IT WAS NOT TRANS. TOOK TO DEALERSHIP FOUND BRONKEN MAGNET IN PICKUP WHEEL. BOY THAT COST!!!!!!
