Question

1988 camaro starts but will not run

Sent to Car Experts March 19, 2006 11:45 a.m.

I have a 1988 Camaro Iroc 305. I picked it up in Arizona and drove it back to Chicago with no problems. I drove it for two weeks and then, all of a sudden, it will not stay runing. It starts right up and chugs a little bt if I attempt to give it any gas it dies immediately. Sometimes it will run in a pulsing fashion but always dies as soon as I attmept to give it any gas. I have changed the fuel filter but it did not help. Any suggestions?

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Try unplugging the Mas air flow sensor see if the condition changes any . This sensor does not always set the light when it screws up.

Post back with results.
