2001 Dodge Caravan: Today there is a smell of rooten eggs ...

2001 Dodge Caravan: Today there is a smell of rooten eggs coming from my heater vent. It happened after I turned on the heater. It smelled for a short time them the smell subsided. what causes this?

rotten eggs smell is caused by a large amount of fuel being burned at once, it may be just that you are smelling it when you turn on the vent. i know if you pull the vacumn line off of a fuel regulator it will cause this smell
