Outside of normal tune up(plugs,wires,a.f.)I would reccomend cleaning your intake and throttle blade.You can purchase intake cleaner in an aerosol can form at your parts store.Follow the directions exactly.You don't have a check engine light on do you?

Reply to Michael's Post: i clean the throttle blade change plugs change wires did not help only idles rougher while in gear 2000 nissian sentra automatic tranmission 4 clyinder disconect the tps rpm went up and idle bettercould it be the tps this is the same prolem i ask about last week no engine light

Are you running low grade fuel?And when I suggested intake cleaning I meant the whole intake system,not just the blade.You have to get intake cleaner and really follow the can directions.Especially in the IAC port.I would not rule out the TPS as suspect but there are litterally dozens of things that cause rough idle.You unplugged the TPS and you don't have a check engine light?I suggest you retieve codes at this point.Autozone will do this for free.
