Engine turns over, starts, but runs for about 3 seconds then dies. Attempt 2nd start, but engine does not start. Pressing down on foot accelearator releases excess gasoline. Attempt 3rd start. Engine turns over, pops loudly, and starts, but must run enngine for at least two minutes before it will idle smoothly. Thereafter, during the day, no more starting problme. However, the problem returns.
