ACCEPTED Check Mark

The fans aren't supposed to come on until approx 225 deg. That is extremely hot but completely normal. as long as the fan catches it before going into the red zone and brings it back down, it's operating normally. Unplugging the sensor and having the fans come on, proves the circuit is working and just waiting for the ecm to activate it.

How Do I know if ecm will tell it to come on at right time have had it go up to around 240 f and nothing under load up hill heats up pretty good .. but down hill cools right down .. temp gauge flucuates from approx 150 to 220.. temp outside around 60 degrees,, I don't want my sister who travels with it approximately 1000 miles a week with it to have anymore problems with it ,, still wondering why the heads warped in the first place.. engine runs smooth and doesn't stumble check engine light working fine .. someone here in town told me that the eprom could cause same problem .. ??? I guess What I am asking is what can I do to asure myself that the engine will not overheat on my sister and is there and simple test I can do ,(without a computer diagnostic tool)..
