ford AX4S problem

i replaced seals,clutch disk and convetor on a 98 ford with a ax4s automatic transmission. now you can feel it go into D and R but when you step on the gas it will move very little at 2,000 rpm the line pressure at idle check out fine. can you help me? when you unhock the main electrical   connector on the transmission the psi in gear goes to120 psi and i can drive in L and have 2nd or 3rd in D but don't have reverse it moves in R but very little. the torque converter cluth solenoid was also replaced

i took trans out and oil shaft is bad and tourqe contertor has very little oil in it. how do i tell if rebuild covertor is good? convertor is very loose inside

If it is the original torque convertor I would replace it anyways,the torque convertor clutch wears out over time and sets a check engine light and slips. The low fluid level is normal and the inner guts move around quite a bit.Main thing is if it has a lot of end play. Best bet if in doubt is to replace it.

this torque was a new rebuild from ford when i put the transmission together
