my 96 lesabre does not start. it cranks over but does not start

You need to first test a few functions during the failure.

1) Test for spark at the plug end of the wire using a spark tester.
2) Test for injecter pulse using a small bulb called a noid light.
3) Use a fuel pressure gauge to test for correct fuel pressure.

Once you have determined which of these functions has dropped out,
you will know which system is having the problem.

Here's what the noid light looks like.

Reply to Hammer Time's Post: I have found fuel pressure and spark, but no noid. what would be my next step. oh and i have batt. voltage at the injectors and no codes in the computor

Are you saying you have spark but no injecter pulse?

What is the fuel pressure?

Does the check engine light come on for a bulb check when the key is turned on without starting?

If your 100% sure you have spark and power supply at the injecters, it's really looking like a bad computer.
