the 194k kind hahaha, started spewing oil, replaced all the gaskets, and then the expected results a couple weeks later, rings on driver side went, so decided to change out, this is a tbi system also, I've checked sensors, lines, I am baffled, only have the 2 miles that I drove it today on the block, it wanted to cut out, but didnt die, when I tried to accelerate she didnt want to, and seemed to lose power,I think would have died had I not feathered the pedal alittle, it seems like it should be the timing or a vacuum line possibly but dont see how it could be,

So the engine Diesels, hmmm, Check the following, make sure your firing order are correct, check your ignition system, and your ignition timing maybe incorrect, double check your mixture too maybe it's building up so much carbon on the chamber.

I'm suspecting a plugged catalytic converter caused by the old engine. Try dropping the exhaust from the manifiold and see if it makes any difference with open exhaust.
