Question

When car warms up and comes to a stop it dies in gear.

Sent to Car Experts April 14, 2005 8:57 p.m.

My daughter just bought a 1990 Chevy Corsica and when it warms and comes to a stop it dies in gear. When you restart it dies when you put it into gear. When you let it sit for awhile it works fine again.

Yes, you are exactly right, I inadvertantly hit the wrong button. Did you get the $5. And yes, I will use this service again. I just unplugged the solenoid. It runs OK now. Little sluggish on the highway. Anyway, the part will run about $50. So you did save me some money.

Thanks Again

 Hello Vince,

It's not showing up that you paid Tech501 for his answer. Maybe you will have to try again?

BTW, how many miles on the car? Seen several of these reach 300-400k.
