1993 Honda Accord LX Main Relay Location
Sent to Car Experts April 05 10:40 AM

Where EXACTLY is the main relay located in a 1993 Honda Accord LX. I have been all over near the inside fuze box with no joy. I have one to replace, so I know what it looks like. I can barely see something that looks similar to the far left under the drivers dash, but it is above a whole bunch of other stuff. The car starts sometimes and sometimes doesn’t (fuel pump is not powering up). Help!

It is under the dash, to the left of the steering column and appears to be mounted with the wire pointing down. It looks withing 3-5in of thesteering column support brace.

Reply to Tech501's Post: Thanks for your response. I'll go home at lunch today and look again. Should I be looking more forward (toward the firewall) or more aft (like under the panel that can be taken off? I do a lot of my own work... but this one is kicking my butt. I really didn't want to start unbolting other modules to find this (may be I just missed it).

It's hard to tell from the picture. It looks like it might be more toward the front but it is pretty high up. It may be under another module too.
