99 Pontiac Grand AM GT

Car is smoking from the right side of hood, slight squealing noise and when driving car is running hot....but then when I turned my heater on temperature started to go down, what could this mean?

when looking inside the hood, facing the car to the left side back corner (by windshield), that belt is where the "squealing" is coming from, and it looks like water is leaking from car...that is also where smoke was seen coming from earlier today....don't know about hot spots

belts don't look shrunk or cracked but then again I have not been the one that has looked that closely at them....i am going to have my car looked at this weekend so I guess I will know more than...but thank you for the suggestions...at least we will have something to pin point...
