HELP
Sent to Car Experts January 26 07:04 AM

I have an 89 Chevorlet Caprice and its starting to run hot. I’ve had it looked at several time but everybody tells me something different. I’ve been told that it could be my water pump, pressure release cap, radiator, head gasket,or fan clutch please give me a little help before it turns really bad. Thanks in advance.

Reply to jon_050's Post: Most of the time its at highway speed but if I just run the car with the air on it does it sometimes also. Whatever it is, its working but getting stuck or going out or something because like I said it only does it sometimes. Now more than before. I also seem to have to put gas in quite often and was told that the fan clutch might have something to do with it. Are you susposed to be alble to stop and hold the fan with one finger while the car is running? If not sometimes my car will let you. Also, it gives a strong gas smell while running and it didn't pass inspection any sugguestions?
