Question

battery/alternator?

Sent to Car Experts December 20, 2004 1:06 p.m.

I replaced my car battery about 4 months ago, and it ran fine. The battery indicator blinked on a few times but it was temporarily, so I didn’t think much of it. Then last night on my way home the battery indicator came on and stayed on. I made it home and turned off the car for the night. Today I started the car and the indicator came on as soon as I did, and then the car died shortly after. My question is; is my problem the battery? Or does the fact that the battery is only 4 months old mean that it could be the alternator?
