chevy camaro 2000 6 cyl. reduced engine power light

I have a 2000 chevy camaro. It’s a 6 cylinder engine. When I start the car from time to time it starts with the reduced engine power light on. It also has the service engine soon light on as well. This doesn’t happen every single time, simply periodically. Any suggestions?

 you can go to autozone store and ask them to read the codes for you..its a free service and tells you why the engine light is on.
