I have an intermittant problem with the blower on my air conditioner not wanting to blow at all times. If I start the air conditioner, the fan may blow or it may not. Then at any given time during the sequence, it may start blowing and working normal. If I turn the motor off and come back to the car and start the motor, the blower may or may not work. Can you tell me what to look for. The vehicle is a 1997 Mercury Cougar XR-7. This problem started with just an ocassional delay start but now happens quite frequently.

Already Tried:
I've looked in my Chiltons manual for a possible relay for the fan motor but it doesn't mention one.
