I have an 87 honda civic wagovan that keeps dying
Sent to Car Experts October 16 11:42 AM

I have an 87 honda civic wagovan (?). it seems to be idling very low.. when I come to a stop, the odometer drops to below 500 and it sputters. Most of the time it dies and it takes 2-3 more tries to start it. If I am in park, it is fine and idles at around 1000, but if I am in drive, it drops and dies if I dont accelerate immediately, consequently I am constantly revving the engine in park and dropping it into drive so I can go without it dying. It does the same in reverse. We can't reverse unless there is plenty of room. Can you please try to help me? I am car-repair stupid, but my husband will understand what you have to say :-)
