Just so that I am on the right page, the vehicle will not crank when you turn the key and the security light is blinking, correct?

ACCEPTED Check Mark

Okay, then the first thing you should do is try and reset the key to the security system. Put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position and leave it there for 10 minutes. Then turn the key off and then back on again for 10 more minutes. Repeat this one more time and then try to start it. Let me know what happens.
